Antique Victorian oval 'Danish Fern' black transferware platter, circa 1857-1876.
Crafted by Beech & Hancock in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, England.
Inspired by her own 19th century collection, the delicate fern and grass pattern was reproduced by Martha Stewart with Burgess, Dorling & Leigh in the early 2000s in a brown transferware.
Stamped on base 'B & H Danish Fern.'
Earthenware.
Condition: Excellent antique condition. No chips or cracks.
