This beautifully crafted pewter plate features a reeded scalloped rim and a single crowned Tudor rose hallmark on the back. It is heavier than typical pewter pieces, giving it a substantial feel and quality reminiscent of hand-forged pewter from the 17th or 18th century. The integrated hanging tab on the reverse suggests it may be a later reproduction, possibly crafted in the 19th or early 20th century during a period of historic revival design, though it is possible the tab was added later on. There is also what appears to be a lightly inscribed signature on the base of the plate.
The plate exhibits light wear consistent with age, including minor surface marks and scratches, and a tiny splotch of paint on the reverse. Please refer to images.
