Double-ended copper spoon-fork, circa late 19th to early 20th century.

This antique utensil, featuring a spoon on one end and a fork on the other, is likely of French origin. Made from copper, entirely hand-forged and possibly tinned originally.

Double-ended utensils like this were popular in France and crafted in various forms, combining spoons, forks, spatulas, and more. This “spork” style was practical and versatile, suitable for both kitchen use and table presentation.

No identifying marks.

Beautiful aged patina with some wear and surface scratches, showing the utensil’s history and use.
Fork tines are slightly bent. Coated with resin or lacquer layer by previous owner to stabilize the patina and protect the copper from further oxidation.

This piece would be a stunning addition for collectors of antique copperware or as a rustic decorative item in any kitchen.
