A large ceramic stick spatter spongeware bowl, circa early to mid 20th century.
Hand painted and sponge-stamped with stylized flowers and finished with a diamond patterned stick spatter rim, trimmed in blue.
Made by the Nimy pottery factory, in Nimy, Belgium, which operated from 1789 to 1951 and was an important ceramics producer known for its quality and craftsmanship.
Condition: In excellent condition for age, with very minor age expected wear. Some crazing, largely on base. No chips or cracks.
