Redware studio pottery pitcher, circa mid 20th century.
Hand thrown and finished in a glossy, rich chocolate brown glaze with a reddish band at the centre.
Roughly finished, unglazed base featuring impressed potter's mark "[?] HAMPSON"
Condition: In very good vintage condition. There is beautiful crazing throughout the pitcher and minor chips to the glaze, primarily around the rim and handle. No chips or cracks.
