A rare vintage French Longchamp teapot, circa early to mid 20th century.
Longchamp (Faïencerie de Longchamp), founded in 1832, was a well-known French pottery based in Longchamp, Côte-d'Or, Burgundy, France.
Round-bodied form with a decorative finial and basket weave pattern in a beautiful deep green majolica glaze.
Incised scripted 'Longchamp France' mark on base.
In very good condition for age. No chips, cracks or repairs. Crazing throughout. Staining to unglazed rims on base and lid.
