Gertrude Jekyll's Lost Garden tells the story of Rosamund Wallinger’s 16-year quest to restore the long-neglected Edwardian garden at the Manor House, Upton Grey - originally designed in 1908 by renowned garden designer Gertrude Jekyll for The Studio founder Charles Holme. Using Jekyll’s original plans, Wallinger painstakingly re-created what is now the only fully restored Jekyll wild garden in existence. Richly illustrated with photographs and plans, the book offers a detailed and personal account of this remarkable restoration.
