John Derian Decoupage Glass Alphabet Tray

Vintage decoupage Alphabet tray by John Derian, circa early 2000s.

Celebrated for his use of antique ephemera, John Derian has been handcrafting decoupage objects in his New York studio since the 1990s. 

This extra long rectangular tray is one of the rarer sizes produced by the studio. It features a shaded, three-dimensional Italic typeface in green. 

Signed on the reverse by one of the studio's trained artisans. Retains original label. Brass wire for hanging included. 

Collaged paper under handblown glass.

Do not immerse in water, wipe clean.
