A pair of antique white ironstone plates by the Staffordshire pottery Smith, Ford & Jones (S.F. & J.), circa 1889-1895.
Made in Burslem, England.
Each plate features a softly scalloped rim with relief-molded floral details.
Semi-porcelain / Ironstone.
Condition: Both plates are in very good antique condition with expected signs of age: light staining, crazing, and small firing specks typical of 19th-century English ironstone. There is a small chip to the rim of one plate. No cracks or repairs. Please refer to images.
