A rare large wash basin bowl by Burleigh in the green Arden pattern, circa early to mid 20th century.
Inspired by classic 19th-century motifs, Burleigh's Arden pattern is a delicate floral print of Hawthorn branches and blossoms. The green colourway is particularly hard to find, and much less common than Burleigh's signature cobalt blue.
Hand printed in Staffordshire, England.
Earthenware.
Condition: In very good vintage condition with minor age related wear. No chips, cracks or crazing.
