Pair of vintage Val Saint Lambert frosted crystal candlesticks, circa mid-20th century.
These tall, ornate candlesticks are in the 'Manchester' pattern featuring sculptural birds with claw feet on the base, fluted columns with embossed floral details and a scalloped rim. The design is attributed to Charles Graffart and dated to around 1935.
Both marked on base "VSL" (see second last image).
There is a chip out of one bird on one of the candlesticks (see last image).
