An impressive Formia Vetri di Murano art glass vase, made on the island of Murano in Venice, Italy, circa late 20th century.
Formia is now one of the most important glasshouses in Murano, known for sculptural forms, bold colour work, gold or metallic leaf inclusions, and modern interpretations of traditional Venetian techniques.
This vase features a hand-blown organic silhouette, in a rich cobalt, with swirling internal ribbons of colour and silver foil inclusions, providing a celestial, galaxy-like quality.
Retains original authentication sticker.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks.
