Beautiful high quality vintage wool blanket in a natural beige tone, featuring a striking chocolate brown Greek key border at both ends, circa early to mid-20th century.
The long edges are finished with classic blanket stitching, while the short edges have a cotton-bound trim.

No manufacturer's label. Attributed to Jaeger. Founded in 1884, Jaeger was a British heritage brand renowned for its luxurious wool and camelhair textiles, originally inspired by Dr. Gustav Jaeger’s belief in the natural health benefits of wool.
Likely 100% camel hair wool.
The blanket’s color may appear lighter in some images but is more accurately represented in the darker-toned photos.
This piece is in great vintage condition with minor signs of age and use. There is a tiny stain on one end (see last image). Some wear to the cotton binding, particularly in one area (see second last image) as well as some colour fading / yellowing.
A timeless and elegant wool blanket, perfect for adding warmth and texture to any space.
