Vintage Kosta Boda Swedish art glass large lion figurine, circa 1970s.
Designed by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda, the 'Boda Zoo' series launched in 1975 with about 40 glass animal figurines.
The Lion can often be found in smaller sizes but this large size is a rare find!
Would look particularly cute in a nursery or children's room.
Thick Heavy weight clear glass with a flat back.
Condition: Some inclusions in glass which would have occurred during production (see last image). Otherwise in excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks.
