This double handled ceramic cannister is hand painted in blue on an off-white background with a lovely grapevine design.
Marked on base 'MMA'. This piece was made for The Metropolitan Museum of Art who produce / reproduce ceramics based on current shows and themes every few years.
Vintage circa 1990s.
The lid is fitted but not air tight. It is a great size for a countertop jar - perfect for storing tea or coffee.
Very good quality, in excellent condition. No chips or cracks.
