Antique Italian Hinged Wood Trinket Box

Antique early 20th century wood box with raised floral and geometric motifs, and a unique inset box joint hinge. Finished with a rich, dark stain.

Features an Orphan Boy Smoking Tobacco advertisement on the interior which was likely a later addition added by a previous owner.

Original import tags and duty stamps on base.

Made in Italy.

Condition: Visible signs of repair to some the hinge teeth. Hinge in good working order.
